Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules governing use of the Kashva bank statement analysis platform at kashva.ai (the “Service”). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms & Conditions and forms part of the agreement between you and Kashva.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required by law.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
2.1 Upload Unauthorised Financial Data
- Upload bank statements or financial records belonging to another person unless you hold their explicit, documented authorisation to do so.
- Upload fabricated, altered, or fraudulent financial documents.
- Upload documents obtained through unauthorised access to another person’s banking or financial accounts.
2.2 Facilitate Financial Crime
- Use the Service in connection with money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, or any other financial crime.
- Use the Service to conceal the origin of funds or to structure transactions in a manner intended to evade reporting requirements.
- Use the Service to assist any third party in committing a financial crime.
2.3 Interfere with the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code or algorithms underlying the Service, including the AI categorisation system.
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other harmful or malicious code.
- Conduct penetration testing, load testing, or security scanning of the Service without our prior written authorisation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or our infrastructure.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature, rate limit, or access control of the Service.
2.4 Misuse Outputs
- Use AI-generated categorisations or analytics from the Service as the basis for regulated financial reporting, tax submissions, loan applications, or any other purpose requiring verified or audited financial data without independent verification.
- Use the Service to develop or train a competing AI model or financial analysis system.
- Resell, sublicence, or commercially redistribute outputs of the Service without our prior written consent.
2.5 Violate Applicable Law
- Use the Service in any manner that violates UAE federal law, including but not limited to Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Cybercrimes, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and any applicable anti-money laundering legislation.
- Use the Service if you are located in a country subject to a UAE, UN, US, or EU embargo or sanctions regime.
- Impersonate another person, entity, or Kashva employee.
- Use the Service if you are under 18 years of age.
3. Content Standards
Any content you upload to the Service (including file names and any text you enter) must not:
- Contain or facilitate harassment, threats, or abuse directed at any person;
- Infringe any intellectual property rights of any third party;
- Violate any applicable privacy or data protection law.
4. Fair Use
The Service is designed for personal and small business bank statement analysis. You must not place excessive load on the Service in a manner that unreasonably interferes with other users’ access. We reserve the right to implement rate limits or usage caps to maintain service quality for all users.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@kashva.ai. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
6. Enforcement
Kashva reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including:
- Issuing a warning;
- Temporarily suspending your account;
- Permanently terminating your account without refund;
- Removing or disabling access to any content that violates this AUP;
- Reporting suspected criminal activity to UAE law enforcement or other relevant authorities;
- Taking legal action against you.
Our failure to enforce any provision of this AUP in a particular instance does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
